   well, its a pretty powerful sounding filter… so most likely its not just a pedal. this kind of effect would usually be found coming out of a mounted effects unit… or possibly a high-end software effects unit. the original bassline is likely to be digital, making it more accessible by DSP filtering. i own a home recording studio, so i thought i would give you my educated opinion.
