Impressive!
I used a modified LCDproc (for Linux) as the backend. Only the character set and the update speed were changed. All the actual graphics and animation was custom code. The effects were written into a 1bit 20×12 buffer then converted to 20×4 and finally LCDproc updated the image on the display. Unfortunately I have lost the source and the binaries for this demo.
what program are you using and is it possible to get the file to these demo
Because if it’s too easy, where’s the point in doing “impossible” things ?
Terrific, btw ! (will try that with an Arduino soon
This is impossible. You can’t do this on a 20 x 4 LCD. It must be a fake!
…just kidding. Outstanding! Amazing! Incredibly good!
Nice!
You demosceners always surprise me.
Did you try this on VFD character display?
Alright, there it goes: No need for GLCDs any longer…
That is a LONG TIME SPENT! How long did you work at it to achieve all that? It’s very impressive!
Very good job
But scrolling text could be better with previous characters erased right after. And why not a GLCD?
Super Cool !
Really nice, can’t you upload whole program witch this on some server ?
Awesome.
Yes, HD44780.
Is that a hitatchi compatible LCD?
VERY fucking awesome!
The plasma and cube are really cool!!
