   thanks ibanez0r420. I’m looking at a catalog right now thats showing a Hobart Airforce 400 (max cut in mild steel only 5/16″) for $1,555 !!! A device that can cut 1/2′ steel for $300 looks pretty attractive.(if you have or know someone that has theskills to keep from geting fried.)

   How do you know he is American? Ford, GM and Chrysler cars and they are cheap in quality compared to imports. It is funny too when I read people critisized Toyota’s/Honda’s quality has gone down……of course they have because most of them now are made in America.

    OK, this looks nice… and ok..

    I have an idea… And i hope i’ll have the time to truy it.

    My idea… Use a MIG Welder and mode it just to make a plasma cutter….
    The reason is that i have two old mig’s laying around. and one has a bad wire druver,,, so i could use it… i would just need to buy a p. cutter gun and install an air compresor with a valve… and it would be safer… i mean. adding a fiew cups to the output will do the job…
