hey guys i bought a 40 inch led samsung tv a couple of months ago and i noticed 3 days ago i had black pixel on the center of the screen i got pissed as hell!
i tried the rgb video on it and it showed only on red and green.today i ran the video again and it showes only on green and when i took a closer look the pixel is kind of a very dark purple colour.
is it a stuck pixel??
led tv’s use lcd panels so its the same damn problems all over again.
they only replace it if it has 8 defctive pixel
oh but today after the night when i turned on the LCD again the lame green pixel showed up again…
Wow the applying pressure actually worked, I just bought new Philips LCD today and had green pixel stuck at the end of the day, you can imagine how frustrated I was… I turned off the LCD, pressed on the stuck pixel spot and then turned on the LCD (at this point i noticed white spot where i was pressing and i god really scared) released the pressure and the green pixel disappeared along with the white spot resulted from the pressure after like 3 seconds…
Thank you 3DGAMEMAN for this one!
I had a stuck pixel a minute ago ang I was able to remove it using Rodney’s advice. I used a stylus pen, applied pressure to the stuck pixel, turned off the LCD, wait for a few seconds before releasing the pressure, and then turn on the LCD.
Thank you Rodney!
@BillyNilsson – i had a pixel that looked black to me and couple of taps and it was fine again. to be honest this is not a known art. If your unit is out of warrenty, its worth a try.
Uhm my HP vs19 got a stuck red pixel in the middle of my screen. I gave it a little poke 2 times with my finger and then it worked again.
so u cant fix the black ones?
I did the sharpie technique and the tapping technique on my projection bulb HDTV and it didn’t work. I even did the 50 sceond flashing repair that’s here and that didn’t work either. I got a tiny blue dot and it’s annoying. Thanks.
I have one, but under different backdrop colors it is able to change color or even vanish completely. What is going on here? None of the pressure methods worked.
tapped it and it went away! thanks!
just that it isnt at the middle where the crosshair might be~ T_T its at the right top where the map might be~
like red dot hack for some mp fps shooters
lol
i have a red dot on my LCD monitor~ i rubbed it and it went away but it comes back again after reboot and i rubbed it again and it went away~ and it comes back after a reboot~
i love red dots~
Yeah I tried pretty much every technique, it’s exactly the same. Most likely dead… but thanks for trying to help!
@artem1002
Yes, a stuck pixel could appear black to your eyes. As long as it can emit light, it is a stuck pixel. It might be worth trying the techniques on an apparently black pixel, though if they don’t work, it is probably dead.
i think its a stuck pixel, i hade that to just pushed carefully with a pensiel and its gone
i fixed stuck pixel thxxxx a lot <3
Thanks man
it works with the pensel nice thx you are the best 5/5
thx i just pushed carefully and its gone
very nice
Nice video! I have a question about a stuck pixel on my lcd tv. The strange thing is sometimes it’s gone for a couple of days (no longer) and then reappears! Then I can easily tap it away (or gently rub it away) and again it reappears after a couple of hours or days! So, I only can fix it for a short period of time! Will this stay forever? Or is there another way to helpthe stuck pixel go away for longer? thanks!!
can stuck pixels be black? I have one on my 22incher. Does black pixel mean automatic dead pixel, or is there a possibility it’s stuck in that color?
I have got a light grey row across the upper part of my screen. It doesn’t bother me to much but it is pretty visable on a light blue backround. Does anyone know what that could be? I’ve had the screen a couple of years and just got it recently. It’s just a straight horisontal line that goes across the screen which is kinda transparent because you can see the original color under it. It just makes the color a bit more grey. Reply please!
my speaker is dead,,,,,what he said?
bla bla bla vla bla aaaaa
pressure method 100% working for stuck pixel tthank you sir
Wtf I just got a brand new Benq monitor and I have one dead pixel. It sucks.
